Frequently asked questions
Which Odoo versions does Clockoo work with?
+
Clockoo is built for Odoo 18 Enterprise. The architecture is designed for multiple Odoo versions—support for more versions is coming. Tell us which version you run: it feeds directly into our prioritization.
Where are my time entries stored?
+
Exclusively in your Odoo. Clockoo is a client, not a platform—there is no Clockoo cloud holding your data. What you see in Clockoo is your Odoo, live.
Do I need an API key or admin rights?
+
No. You sign in via SSO—Azure AD or OAuth, exactly like in Odoo web. Your existing Odoo permissions apply.
How exactly does the license work?
+
The license is bound to your Odoo instance, not to individual people. There are no license codes to hand out. You’re only billed for users who actually used Clockoo in the last 30 days—parental leave, vacation or departures take care of themselves.
What data does SERGO receive?
+
As little as possible. The license server counts active users per instance—no names, no e-mail addresses, no time data. Your project and time data never leave your Odoo.
Is Clockoo available for iOS and Android?
+
Mobile apps are planned. Clockoo deliberately starts on the desktop (macOS and Windows)—where most working hours happen and where the gap was biggest. By the way, a running timer is already visible on mobile today: in Odoo web and Odoo’s mobile apps.
Does Clockoo work offline?
+
An offline mode is in the works: track on the go, post automatically once your Odoo is reachable again. Today, Clockoo needs a connection to your instance—in return, everything is always guaranteed consistent.
